Assemblywoman Patricia Egan Jones will speak about her successful efforts to bring the Battleship New Jersey to the Camden Waterfront on Saturday night, April 9 at Haddonfield United Methodist Church.
Assemblywoman Jones’ talk will follow a potluck supper starting at 6:30 p.m. in the church’s downstairs social hall. Those wishing to attend are asked to bring a dish to share plus $7 to help cover costs. The after-supper program will begin around 7:45 p.m. The public is welcome but should make a reservation by contacting Barbara at (856) 404–4721 or tofuyum@yahoo.com so enough places will be set at the tables.
The supper and program are sponsored by Saturdaynighters, a Haddonfield United Methodist Church social group that has been going strong for more than 60 years. Newcomers are always welcome. The church is located at 29 Warwick Road. Parking is at the rear of the church.
