Evesham Police K9 Ciko sniffs out cocaine and heroin during vehicle stop

On March 1, at 12 p.m. an officer patrolling inside the DDACTS Zone conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 70.

During the investigation Evesham Police K-9 Ciko was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics.

K-9 Ciko was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car.

A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of cocaine and heroin.

Arrested:

A female age 23 of Barnegat was charged with third degree possession of cocaine and third degree possession of heroin. She was release on her recognizance.
