Cherry Hill man dies after being struck by vehicle last week

A Cherry Hill man was killed on Jan. 28 after a vehicle struck him on North Kings Highway.

The accident took place just after 8 p.m. on Jan. 28. The 77-year-old man was walking with his wife along North Kings Highway northbound near Elkins Road when a vehicle struck him. The man was seriously injured and was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he later died. The vehicle did not strike the man’s wife and there were no other injuries.

Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on location and was cooperative. Police do not plan to file charges.
