Moorestown Police Reports for Jan. 19 to Jan. 21

The following information is on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On Jan. 19, a 32-year-old individual of Brooklyn, N.Y. has been charged with credit card theft, possession of altered credit card and credit card fraud by using a stolen credit card at Lord & Taylor, Victoria’s Secret, Hollister and Journeys in the Moorestown Mall totaling $7,125 in loss for transactions which occurred on Jan. 5.

On Jan. 20, a 33-year-old woman of Camden was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She stole merchandise from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall for total value of $407.47. She was remanded to the Burlington County Jail in default of $1,500 bail.

Also, a 32-year-old female of Camden was arrested and charged with simple assault. She assaulted the Boscov’s Loss Prevention Officer while they were attempting to detain suspects. She was also remanded to the Burlington County Jail in default of $1,500.

On Jan. 21, officers responded to the Moorestown Mall for a report of someone in distress in the restroom. A 26-year-old man of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams, possession of cocaine and possession of 1.5 Clonazepam tablets. He was released on summonses.
