Cherry Hill Police searching for suspects accused of placing skimming device on 7-Eleven ATM

The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.

Cherry Hill Police are investigating a report of a skimming device being placed on an ATM at the 7-Eleven at 1811 Chapel Avenue.

Through investigation, it was determined the device was attached to the ATM at approximately 11:54 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17. The device was active for less than two hours and it is believed no financial data was compromised. The device consisted of a card reader attachment to capture the credit card data from the magnetic strip as well as a separately mounted pinhole camera positioned to record the keypad entries of PIN information.
