Haddonfield commemorates Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The borough’s Human Relations Commission (HRC) will again commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 18. A brief candlelight ceremony will be held on the steps of Borough Hall at approximately 6:45 p.m. The commissioners, boy scouts, choir and HRC members will participate and then lead a candlelight procession down Kings Highway and back to Borough Hall. A program will follow upstairs in Borough Hall recognizing MLK student essay and art contest participants, with musical selections by HMHS graduate and soloist Aaron Barabuscio. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
