Eastern Regional High School Board to rename gym after wrestling coach John. P. Sanders on Feb. 17
The Eastern Camden County Regional School District Board of Education will be renaming the school’s Gym 3 after long time wrestling coach John P. Sanders on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Sanders coached wrestling at Eastern for 24 years and accumulated 24 wining seasons and career record of 423–213 -6.

The wrestling team under Sanders’ leadership won seven Conference Championships, six District Championships, two Sectional Championships and were ranked in the top 10 of South Jersey 11 times.
Sanders coached three State Champions, 10 State Finalists, 27 Region Champions and 91 District Champions during his career.
