Two Resurrection Catholic School students recognized for their writing

Resurrection Catholic School sixth graders Felipe Utreras-Castro and Alyssa Irwin, won first and second place, respectively, in the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society Philcon 2015 Young Writers’ Contest, Middle School Category.

The students were given their awards on Nov. 20 at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill. The students and their Language Arts teacher, Karen Hatch were congratulated for all of their hard work.
