I was first struck by the gorgeous cinematography but then I was drawn into the story. This has to be one of the most enduring romances of the 20th century. Eddie Redmayne will surely be nominated for best actor for his portrayal of Einar Wegener, the Danish landscape artist. A memorable film.

Eddie Remayne may end up with the best actor Oscar two years in a row! His portrayal of a transgender man-Denmark, 1930s-provides him the same vehicle as portraying Steven Hawking.
It’s his portrayal that makes the movie.
