The following is on file with the Voorhees Police Department:
On Dec. 8 at approximately 11:11 p.m., Voorhees Police Officer Kenneth Fowlkes initiated a motor vehicle stop on a red Buick Regal for an equipment violation.
Subsequent Police investigation revealed the driver identified as a male, 30, from the 500 block of Bergen Street in Gloucester City, who was found to have numerous warrants for his arrest.
A passenger who provided false names to police was subsequently identified as a male, 23, from the 100 block of Arch Avenue in Berlin.
The 23-year-old male was also found to be in possession of a loaded Arminius Titan Tiger .38 caliber revolver with hollow point rounds. He was taken into custody without incident. Also located in the vehicle was a bag containing black ski masks.
The 23-year-old male was charged with possession of a handgun, unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons prohibited from possessing weapon, possession of hollow point ammunition and hindering apprehension.
He was remanded to Camden County Correctional Facility in lieu of $106,000Â bail.
