Live Nativity at Dickens Fest on Saturday

Live Nativity

It’s a joy for the Medford United Methodist Church to again offer the annual retelling of the Original Christmas Story as part of the “Dickens Festival”. The festival runs on Saturday Dec. 5 from 6 p.m. — 10 p.m. and also includes the annual tree lighting, and of course, the arrival of Santa at 6:15 p.m.

You will find the Live Nativity across the street from the Library in Tomlinson Mill Park.

Youth and adult actors join to recreate the classic scene of the Shepherds, angles and kings, as well as Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus. A highlight of the live nativity is an assortment of animals, including a live camel.

The “No Excuses Band” will also be performing between Nativity performances.
