Moorestown Police Reports for Nov. 22 to Dec. 2

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On Nov. 27, a 41-year-old man of Beverly was arrested and charged with shoplifting. He purchased a vacuum cleaner valued at $199.99 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall, then removed the paid sticker and returned to Boscov’s where he placed the same paid label onto a space heater valued at $179.99. Patel was released on a summons.

On Nov. 27, HH Gregg on Nixon Drive reported a past tense Shoplifting. Two males entered the store and stole five headsets and seven iPods for total value of $1749.88.

On Dec. 1, an unlocked vehicle was entered on West Cooper Avenue and $1,200 in cash, three gift cards and one gas card were taken.

On Dec. 1, a vehicle on South Shirley Avenue had the rear window smashed and a wallet containing $500 cash and credit cards and a radar unit were taken.

On Dec. 2, Macy’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall reported a past tense Shoplifting. Five males entered the store and stole seven men’s polo jackets with a total value of $2,115.

On Nov. 22, a resident of the 200 block of West Main Street reported their house and vehicle were egged overnight.

On Nov. 23, Victoria’s Secret and Payless Shoes in the Moorestown Mall reported receiving counterfeit $100 bills, which were used to make purchases by a female in her mid-twenties.

On Nov. 24, a resident of Wagon Bridge Run had their unlocked vehicle entered overnight. A wallet, jacket and book bag were taken.

On Nov. 24, a resident of Wagon Bridge Run had their unlocked vehicle entered. Approximately $10 and a jacket were taken.

On Nov. 24, a resident of Meadow Drive reported two vehicles entered overnight; it appears nothing was taken.
