Marlton Elks support Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey with $500 donation

The Marlton Elks have announces continued support for Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey with a donation of $500 to support shipments of care packages to troops in the Middle East.

On the night of Tuesday, Nov. 10, Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey, through group chair Dave Silver, accepted the donation from Marlton Elks.

Silver explained that the care packages sent to troops cost $25 to send and that is where the Elks donation will go.

Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey will also have a Cookie Drive on Dec 5. Marlton Elks also provided a Veterans Day Breakfast to 15 vets during the Elks monthly Breakfast.

Present at the event were Marlton Elks Veterans committee Jeanie Ritz, Heather Williams, Frank Andrea, Randy Yontz , Kathy Yontz, Dave Maytas, Diana Maytas, George Tencza, and Exalted Ruler Alison Fistori.

Additionally, Airmen Molina Semple will be the guest of honor while on leave from her post in Alaska at the Elks Christmas party on Dec. 5 at Marlton Elks location 426 Evesboro-Medford road.

Elks provides support to veterans, provides local scholarships, essay contests and support to the local special needs community.
