Tip from public credited in arrest of 2013 armed robbery of Evesham convenience store

Evesham Police are crediting a tip from the public for the identification and arrest of a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Sept. 3, 2013 at the Pantry One Convenience Store, 527 Old Marlton Pike.

During this armed robbery the suspect entered the business, wearing all black with a bandana covering his face. The male pointed what was believed to be a firearm at the clerk and demanded money. The robber then fled the store with approximately $700 in cash.

A male, age 22, of Toms River was arrested and charged on Nov. 6 with first degree armed robbery and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $50,000 full bail.
