Narcotics Incident in Medford Township

On Nov. 9 at 10:13 a.m. Medford Township Police stopped a 2004 Oldsmobile on Dixontown Road near Timber Green Court for having an expired registration. During the stop officers observed a large “dagger” style knife and a “billy club” in plain view inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle additionally revealed a stun gun. The driver was found to have a glass pipe containing burnt marijuana residue on his person. He was taken into custody and transported to the Medford

Township Public Safety Building where he was processed. He was charged with Possession of CDS Paraphernalia (2C:36–2), Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (2C:39:3E), Possession of a Stun Gun (2C:39–3H), Unregistered Vehicle (39:3–4), and Failure to Exhibit a Drivers License (39:3–29) before being released on summonses pending an appearance in Medford Township Municipal Court.
