In celebration of Veterans Day, at Friday night’s game the Haddonfield Bulldawgs will be wearing a special edition camouflage jersey personalized with the players’ last name. These jerseys were donated to the Bulldawgs by Subaru of America to help Haddonfield celebrate the service and sacrifice of our Veterans and Active Military.

Friday’s game will be the only time these special edition jerseys will be worn. Because the jerseys are personalized, Subaru has requested each player be given an opportunity to keep their jersey in remembrance of the event.

In celebration of this event, Subaru will make a donation to Active Heroes, a charity focused on helping active duty military, veterans and their families deal with the stress and issues they face returning home from service. Subaru has asked us to join them in support of Active Heroes. For a donation of $20, players can keep their camo jersey. Also, Subaru will match donations and guarantee a minimum donation of $2,000 to support Active Heroes.

If interested, donations for the jerseys can be made until Thanksgiving. After Friday’s game, players are on the honor system — if you would like to keep the jerseys, just drop off a check to Jonathan Rivard by Thanksgiving. Checks should be made out to Active Heroes and can be mailed or dropped off at the Rivard’s at 214 Westmont Ave.
