The Mt. Laurel Township Board of Education has a new member.

According to The Burlington County Board of Elections, incumbents Maureen Sojka and Ronald Frey won re-election, along with newcomer Melissa M. DeClementi.

All three ran unopposed this year for three open seats, each for three-year terms.

Sojka received 3,571 votes (33.17 percent), Frey received 3,494 votes (32.45 percent) and DeClementi received 3,644 votes (33.85 percent).

For the Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education race, John Jeffers ran unopposed and won re-election for a Mt. Laurel seat on the board with 3,891 votes (99.01 percent).

In the race for Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, challengers Kate Gibbs (R) and Ryan Peters (R) unseated incumbents Aimee Belgard (D) and Joanne Schwartz (D).

Gibbs received 27,812 votes (25.67 percent) and Peters received 27,707 (25.57 percent).

Belgard received 25,565 votes (24.52 percent) and Schwartz recieved 26,180 votes (24.16 percent).

In the race for the 8th Legislative District of the NJ General Assembly, Maria Rodriguez-Gregg (R), incumbent, and Joe Howarth (R) each won. Rodriguez-Gregg received 12,228 votes (49.52 percent) and Howarth received 12,128 votes (49.12 percent).

Neither Democrats nor any other party put forth a nomination.

Election results are considered unofficial until the Burlington County Board of Elections officially certifies them at a later time.
