Moorestown Police Reports for Oct. 18 to Oct. 22

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On Oct. 18, a vehicle was observed failing to maintain lanes on Route 38. Due to vehicle stop the suspect was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence. The suspect was a 30-year-old man of Mt. Laurel who was issued motor vehicle summonses for DUI, reckless, refusal to submit to breathalyzer and failure to maintain lane.

On Oct. 19, arrested and charged with shoplifting from Lord & Taylor were a 37-year-old man of Voorhees and a 33-year-old woman of Wildwood. The man selected clothing, put the clothing on and left without paying for a $248 total value. The woman selected clothing valued at $129, put the clothing on and left without paying also. Both were released on summonses.

On Oct. 20, a 31-year-old woman of Maple Shade was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. The woman sold an HP Notebook valued at $400 to a pawn broker and received $90 knowing the notebook was stolen. She was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $1,000 bail.

On Oct. 22, a 37-year-old man of Woodbury was arrested and charged with theft by deception. The man took a comforter valued at $74.89 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and returned it for a store gift card. He was released on a summons.

On Oct. 22, a 32-year-old woman of Woodbury was arrested and charged with shoplifting and possession of CDS Heroin. She stole a scarf valued at $40 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. In her possession were two bags of Heroin. She was committed to BCJ on $50,000 bail.
