Hit and run investigation and DWI’s top this week’s Mt. Laurel Police report

On Oct. 9, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Target in reference to a shoplifting. Arrested was a male, age 19, from the 2500 block of Sussex Court, for altering the price tag on two PlayStation games, each valued at $59, and attempting to purchase them for 1 cent each. He was charged with shoplifting and released pending a hearing in municipal court.

On Oct. 11, Mt. Laurel Police responded to SH73 and Rogers Walk for a hit and run motor vehicle crash. Investigation resulted in the arrest of a male, age 40 of the 3000 block of Delran, for DWI. He was released pending a hearing in Municipal Court.

On Oct. 14, Mt. Laurel Police investigated a disabled motor vehicle on SH 38 and subsequently arrested the driver, a female, age 40 from the 200 block of Palsted Ave., Westfield, for DWI. She was released pending a hearing in municipal court.

On Oct. 15, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on SH 38. Investigation revealed the driver, a male, age from the 700 block of Bridgeton Pike, Monroeville, was DWI. He was arrested and released pending a hearing in municipal court.

On Oct. 15, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Home Depot for a shoplifting. Arrested was a male, age 22 from the unit block of Pilgrim Lane, Willingboro, for shoplifting a Dewalt power drill and battery valued at $228. He was released pending a hearing in municipal court.

On Oct. 15, a male, age 35 from the 3200 block of Ramsbury Court, was stopped by Mt. Laurel Police on Hainesport Road for motor vehicle violations. Investigation revealed he was in possession of prescription medications not prescribed to him. He was arrested and committed to Burlington County Jail in default of bail.
