Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association hosts Interfaith Service of Remembrance Oct. 22

Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association invites all members of the community for “All We Need is Love,” an Interfaith Service of Remembrance at Moorestown Community House, 16 East Main Street.

The one-hour service will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 and will be followed by an opportunity for fellowship and refreshments provided by the home care and hospice organization.

“All We Need Is Love” will include interpretive dance by The Dance Lab, and musical selections by harpist Laura Dishong, Ellie Dishong on violin, and Sean Russek on acoustic guitar. Familiar songs from contemporary and traditional artists like The Beatles will be interwoven with readings by The Hospice of Moorestown VNA staff. The service will offer an opportunity for each special person to be remembered individually.

This is a heartfelt and moving way to honor and celebrate the lives of lost loved ones with words of comfort and uplifting live music.

This is a free service and open to all in the community. Family, friends and neighbors are all welcome to attend. RSVP by Oct. 19 to Andra Vasko (856) 552–1300, ext. 2707. Attendees may bring a framed photo 5 by 7 inches or smaller to share and display during the service.

Founded in 1904, Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association is a non-profit organization that provides health care at home, private duty, hospice, counseling and community wellness services to families in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties.
