Idaho man faces charges after breaking into Evesham house, assaulting homeowner

The following report is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On Oct. 9, at 10 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Grisscom Court for a 911 call.

Upon the officers arrival they found the homeowner was severely beaten as a result of a past tense physical assault.

Investigation determined that a male forcibly entered into the residence with several other subjects and physically assaulted the homeowner over an ongoing family dispute. The male, who remained on location, was arrested and lodged in Burlington County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail.

The other subjects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The victim was transported to Cooper Hospital for head injuries.

A male age 52, of Idaho, was charged with third degree burglary and fourth degree simple assault. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $20,000 bail.
