The Evening Membership Department of the Haddon Fortnightly will be having its annual Guest Night on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The meeting is designed to show interested women what the club is all about. We explain the projects we work on, to assist those in need and the social functions we have to become more acquainted with each other. This women’s club has found a way to have fun while servicing others. We always welcome new members so we welcome you to come check us out. We are pleased to announce our guest speaker will be Ed Dwyer, professor of teaching speaking and presentation skills from Abraham Lincoln and his Gettysburg Address. Find out what catapults Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address into the realm of the greatest speeches ever given.
The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Fortnightly Clubhouse, on the corner of Kings Highway and Grove Street, in Haddonfield. Refreshments will be served following.
