Sicklerville man charged with burglarizing two vacant Evesham homes

The following comes from Evesham Police Lt. Joseph Friel:

A multi-jurisdictional investigation between Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester County agencies has resulted in the arrest of a Sicklerville man charged with burglarizing over 50 homes throughout the tri-county area.

The accused was targeting abandoned or houses under bank foreclosures and would remove cooper piping. The copper piping was then sold to various scrap yards in the tri-state area.

The Evesham Police Department would like to remind all citizens to contact the derpatment immediately upon observing suspicious activity.

Arrested:

A male, age 41, of Sicklerville, was charged with two counts of third degree burglary, third degree theft and criminal mischief.

He is currently lodged in the Camden County Jail on similar charges.
