The summer selection of the Historical Society of Haddonfield Book Club is “The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History,” by Robert M. Edsel and Bret Witter. The Book Club will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at Greenfield Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Oct. 19 a combined Book Club meeting of HSH members and the members of the Haddonfield Library Book Club will meet. The selection is “Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics,” by Daniel J. Brown.
