It Takes a Village NJ needs volunteers, orientation Sept. 29

Volunteers urgently needed for It Takes A Village NJ.

We are a volunteer organization that helps the elderly, the disabled of any age, and returning vets, to live safely and comfortably in their own homes… at no charge for our services!

Volunteer as little as one hour per week of your time, as needed, to help someone in need.

Needed volunteers include moms who can shop for the home-bound, and those whose background includes social work, information technology and administration.

Our services cover the following areas: Cinnaminson, Delran, Hainesport, Maple Shade, Moorestown and Mt. Laurel.

To join this caring non-profit organization, please contact us. We always need good volunteers!

One-hour orientation sessions are held the last Tuesday of every month.

Our social worker, Jenn, always makes it a fun time!

The next session: Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. Please call the week before to reserve your spot!

General meetings are held every other month from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Moorestown Library, 111 W. 2nd Street. The next meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 14.

And if you — or someone you know — have need of our services, please let us know.
