Moorestown man arrested for possessing and distributing child pornography

Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Moorestown Acting Police Director Lt. Lee Lieber announced that a Moorestown man was arrested on Friday for possessing and distributing child pornography.

The 23-year-old man of Foxwood Drive was charged with one count of endangering welfare of children (Second Degree) for distribution of child pornography and one count of endangering welfare of children (Third Degree) for possession of child pornography.

A search warrant was executed at his Foxwood Drive residence that resulted in the seizure of electronic devices. The man was taken into custody Friday morning at the residence of a friend in Moorestown.

He was released from Burlington County Jail after posting $100,000 bail. The case will now be referred to a Burlington County Grand Jury for possible indictment.

The investigation revealed that the man was using a file-sharing program to distribute child pornography. The images shared by Chance show toddlers being sexually molested and having intercourse with adult men.

The investigation further revealed that at the time of his arrest the man was employed as a high ropes instructor at the Liberty Lakes Day Camp in Mansfield Township, Burlington County. The investigation was conducted by detectives from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit and the Moorestown Township Police Department with assistance from the Indiana County (Pennsylvania) District Attorney’s Office.

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit is a member of the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the New Jersey State Police Cyber Terrorism Task Force.
