Camden County Freeholder Board invites public to spend Grandparent’s Day at Aquarium on Sept. 13

Camden

The Freeholder Board wants to send families to the Adventure Aquarium on Sept. 13 in honor of Grandparent’s Day.

“We are happy to once again present Grandparent’s Day at Adventure Aquarium on the Camden Waterfront to help you create new and lasting memories with your family,” said Freeholder Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Special Events. “The best part is that you can enjoy everything that Adventure Aquarium has to offer for free.”

Grandparent’s Day at Adventure Aquarium is Sept. 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This offer is for senior citizens 55 and older that are accompanied by a child. Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

The Freeholder Board hosts a variety of community activities throughout the year geared to those 55 and older. From dances to exercise classes, bingo and free legal workshops, seniors have access to numerous educational, recreational and entertainment opportunities in Camden County.

“We make it a priority to ensure our programs and services for seniors are entertaining while also supporting a healthy lifestyle,” McDonnell said. “We are continually expanding our programs and have had some great feedback from seniors. This year’s offerings are even better.”
