Samaritan golf tournament raises more than $152K

“Drive FORE! A Good Cause,” Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice’s 24th Annual Golf Tournament, recently welcomed 175 golfers to Little Mill Country Club to raise funds and awareness for Samaritan’s not-for-profit services.

The tournament, sponsored by The Richardson Family Dealerships, raised more than $152,000 to help Samaritan provide care for community members coping with aging, serious illness, or grief, and to assist patients and their families live each day to the fullest with dignity, comfort, and support.

“We are so grateful for the outpouring of support for this year’s tournament,” said Maryann Boccolini, Samaritan President and CEO. “This generosity allows Samaritan to care for uninsured patients and offer programs such as Palliative Medical Partners, Transitions , bereavement support, and the comfort of services such as massage, music, pet and aroma therapies.”
