DiscoverHOPE Community Development Corporation and Destiny Church are hosting their 7th Annual DiscoverHOPE Family Fun Day (DHFFD) on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Laurel Acres Park at 1045 South Church Street in Mt. Laurel from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
DiscoverHOPE CDC, a community organization that focuses on developing youth to be successful leaders in life, and Destiny Church, a non-denominational, family-focused church located in Moorestown, started DHFFD in 2007 as a way to give back to the community and to offer free food, fun and games for young families.
Over the years DHFFD has focused on critical issues such as hunger, illiteracy and health. This year DHFFD will have onsite shopping for children returning to school. We will give away shirts, shoes, coats, sweaters and under garments to anyone in need.
