Moorestown Police Reports for Aug. 1 through Aug. 12

The following reports were provided by the Moorestown Police Department:

On Aug. 1, due to a motor vehicle crash on Kings Highway a 42-year-old male of Cinnaminson was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was also issued numerous traffic violations.

A 54-year-old female of Mt. Laurel was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed jewelry valued at $438.95 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

On Aug. 2, a 27-year-old woman of Browns Mills was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed men’s clothing valued at $216 from Sears Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $1,000 bail.

On Aug. 5, an unlocked vehicle parked in driveway of resident on Haines Drive was entered, but nothing appears to be missing.

On Aug. 6, a resident of Forest Road observed a white male late teens to early twenties enter their unlocked vehicle and stole a gift card, $7 in quarters, a bottle of cologne and an IPod.

Police received a report of juveniles throwing eggs at passing vehicles on East Main Street. A parked vehicle was observed stuck with an egg.

A construction site at the Moorestown Mall reported the theft of copper materials and an extension cord for total of loss $358.31.

Time After Time in the Moorestown Mall reported a black male and black female took a men’s Invicta Hydro Max watch valued at $1,295.

On Aug. 7, a resident of Middlesex Drive reported damage to porch lights. The lights were observed scattered all over the lawn.

A resident of Bowman La observed two white juvenile males in driveway remove mailbox from its post and throw it in the yard. The resident chased them off the property.

On Aug. 9, arrested and charged with shoplifting for concealing baby clothing from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall was a 27-year-old woman of Oaklyn. Value of the clothing was $485.99. She was released on a summons.

On Aug. 8, a resident of Pleasant Valley Avenue reported the theft of a men’s mountain bike taken from unlocked, detached garage. The value is unknown at this time.

On Aug. 12, a resident of Riverton Road reported the theft of a beach cruiser bike taken from an open garage/shed. The value is unknown at this time.
