CFRE International has named Samaritan’s T. Christian Rollins, chief development officer, and Marcy Di Blasio, associate director of development, re-certified as Certified Fund Raising Executives (CFRE). Di Blasio and Rollins are among more than 5,300 professionals worldwide who hold the CFRE designation. Di Blasio earned her CFRE designation in 1993 and Rollins was credentialed in 2000.

CFRE recipients are awarded certification, a voluntary achievement, for a three-year period. Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education, demonstrated fundraising achievement, and a commitment to service to not-for-profit organizations. They have also passed a rigorous written examination, and have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.

“The CFRE credential demonstrates a commitment to our professional calling, and its highest standards, ethical practice, and good stewardship, and I’m proud that both Marcy and I are able to put that commitment to work on behalf of Samaritan and its generous donors,” Rollins said.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian, independent organization accredited by The Joint Commission, a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and its We Honor Veterans program, created in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
