Citizen report of suspicious activity leads to arrest of Trenton man wanted in connection to stabbing

The following information comes from Evesham Police Lt. Joseph Friel:

On Aug. 2 at 8:23 a.m., officers responded to the ShopRite store, 307 West Route 70 for a suspicious male looking into cars.

Responding officers located a male matching the description given by a citizen in the lot of a nearby 7–11 store. The male provided officers with a name of Sean Jon, which was determined to be fictitious.

His real name was discovered when officers cross-referenced a phone number that he had provided to a Taxi Cab that arrived on scene while speaking with officers.

Arrested:

A male, age 18, of Trenton, was charged with fourth degree providing officers with a false name. He was lodge in the Burlington County Jail in default of $100,000 bail in connection to a Trenton City warrant connected to a stabbing.
