Please come and enjoy a fantastic walking tour of Historic Haddonfield courtesy of the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia. The tour is on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 2 p.m and tour-goers should meet at 343 Kings Highway East in front of the Haddonfield Historical Society. There is plenty of free parking right in front of the building. The casual stroll will include a remarkable mix of architecture from the 1700’s right up to the 20th century. Participants will be treated to examples of colonial, federal, Victorian and 20th century styles. It starts with the early Quaker influence, then it runs through the industrial Victorian period, and later moves into the 20th century. One will come away realizing why Haddonfield is considered such an important and unique town. The tour costs $10 for members of the Alliance, $15 for non-members and $12 for students.
