Moorestown Police Reports for July 24 through July 27

The following information was provided by the Moorestown Police Department:

On July 24, arrested and charged with shoplifting was a 30-year-old male of Perth Amboy. He concealed six pairs of sunglasses valued at $925 from Lord & Taylor in the Moorestown Mall. He was released on a summons.

Due to a domestic dispute a 35-year-old man of Moorestown was arrested and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $2,500 bail. Arrested and charged with simple assault due to this dispute was a 38-year-old woman of Moorestown. She posted 10 percent of $2,500 bail and was released.

On July 25, due to a domestic dispute a 28-year-old male of Moorestown was arrested and charged with creating a hazardous condition and criminal mischief. Bail set at $2,500.

On July 26, due to an altercation a 39-year-old man of Moorestown was issued a special summons charging him with township ordinance intoxication in public.

On July 27, arrested and charged with shoplifting was a 35-year-old male of Deptford. He took men’s clothing from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall for a total value of $429. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $1,500 bail.
