Moorestown Police Reports for July 1 through July 8

The following information is on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On July 1, a vehicle was entered on West Maple Avenue and $10 in cash and an IPad taken. Also, a vehicle was entered on South Shirley Avenue and $40 was taken from a wallet.

On July 7, a 30-year-old woman of Bensalem, Pa. was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed clothing valued at $591 in her purse at Lord & Taylor located in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

On July 8, a 27-year-old female of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with shoplifting and possession of a syringe. She placed merchandise in a shopping cart, total value $397.97, from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and proceeded to leave the store. She also had four hypodermic needles in her possession. She was released on summonses.

On July 8, a vehicle in a garage on Riverton Road was entered and $1,000 was taken from a wallet.

On July 8, a victim had their wallet taken from their purse while at Pei Wei on Route 38 and Nixon Drive. The wallet contained $75, various cards and ID.
