Resident notifies Evesham Police of suspicious individuals, leads to burglary and theft arrests

The following comes from Evesham Police Lt. Joseph Friel:

On July 6, at approximately 3:12 a.m., officers responded to the area of Hamilton Road, after a township resident observing three subjects acting suspicious in the area.

Responding officers quickly secured a perimeter around the neighborhood and located an 18-year-old male and two juveniles walking in the area. Investigation determined that the trio had broken into over two dozen vehicles. All three subjects were arrested and numerous items of stolen property were recovered by officers.

Arrested:

A male, age 18, of Marlton was charged with numerous counts of third degree burglary and fourth degree theft. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $20,000 bail.

A 13-year-old juvenile of Marlton was charged with numerous counts of burglary and theft. He was released to his parents.

A 17-year-old juvenile of Marlton was charged with numerous counts of burglary and theft. He was released to his parents.
