Moorestown Police Reports for June 26 through June 30

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On June 26, a resident of Fernwood Road reported two vehicles entered overnight with approximately $15 to $20 in change taken from one. The vehicles showed no signs of force.

On June 29, a resident of Heritage Road reported their mailbox stolen.

On June 29, a resident of East Second Street reported that sometime between 8 p.m. on June 28 and 5 a.m. on June 29 a chainsaw was taken from the bed of a pickup truck parked in driveway. The value of the chainsaw is $300.

On June 30, arrested and charged with robbery and simple assault was a 47-year-old male of Philadelphia, Pa. Macy’s Loss Prevention Officer attempted to stop the man while concealing men’s clothing in a shopping bag valued at $628.50 and in doing so he bit the security officer on the hand. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $17,500 bail.
