Indian King Tavern celebrates Fourth of July with reading of Declaration of Independence

Grab your tricorn hats and bonnets and meet us on the steps of the Indian King Tavern, for a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence. The reading, which will take place at 9:30 a.m., is a part of the Tavern’s day long 4th of July celebration. The historic site will be open to the public after the community parade, until 3 p.m. Members of the 2nd Pennsylvania Regiment of the Continental Line will be available to speak informally with the public about the life of a Revolutionary War soldier.

The Indian King Tavern is located at 233 Kings Highway, Haddonfield. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Indian King Tavern and is open to the public at no charge.
