Fusion describes this program as perfect for a child that wants to learn how to create and perform theater.

The program will include instruction in musical theater, character and plot development, movement/dance and more.

Younger performers ages 5–14 will participate in the creation of “The Queen is Dead, God Save the Queen,” an original musical murder mystery comedy designed and performed by the students themselves.

Teen performers ages 15–20 will develop and perform a stage version of “The Breakfast Club.”

Also being offered for the first time is Fusion’s “Teen Director Workshop” where teen performers will learn the in’s and out’s of directing a full scale performance.

From the stage to costuming to choreography to tech to promotion, Fusion will cover all aspects of directing a show.

The “Teen Director Workshop” will take place from July 7-August 14, 12–4 p.m., on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

For more information and cost information, visit www.fusion-pac.org.

The Fusion Performing Arts Center is a 501©3 charitable organization dedicated to providing education and instruction in the performing arts, being a cultural community resource and facilitating performance opportunities for those educated at the center as well as outside talent.
