No evidence found after bomb threat made on Harrington Middle School Monday night

Students and staff at Harrington Middle School in Mt. Laurel are continuing with their school day this morning just hours after the school was the subject of a bomb threat on Monday night.

Mt. Laurel Police received a telephone call from an unknown suspect that presented a bomb threat to Harrington Middle School at approximately 9 p.m. on June 8. Similar threats were received by multiple school districts throughout the state on this same date.

The school was searched by New Jersey State Police bomb detection dogs in the early morning hours of June 9 and no threat was detected.

This morning, Mt. Laurel Police and Mt. Laurel School District staff conducted a search of all staff member and student bags as they reported to the school. No threat was detected and normal school business resumed with minimal delay.

Mt. Laurel Police will maintain a presence at Harrington Middle School throughout the day and anticipate no further disruption to the school activities due to this threat.
