Haddonfield 65 Club goes to Dover Air Mobility Command Museum

The Haddonfield 65 Club is off again.

This time to the Dover Air Mobility Command Museum in Dover, Del. on June 23.

The air conditioned school bus will depart from Haddonfield Memorial High School, promptly at 9 a.m., and go directly to the Air Museum, where you will step off to a museum that houses of 30 aircraft ranging from open cockpit bi-planes to modern four engine jet transports. There is also a beautifully restored B-17 in the hanger sitting next to a combat veteran C-47. You will be able to walk through Air Force 2, the plane of the vice president. Plus you will be able to go into the traffic control tower with a fantastic view of the planes on display.

After a leisurely tour we will head to Jessop’s Tavern in New Castle for lunch, with time to stroll around historic New Castle , arriving home around 5 p.m.
