Moorestown Police Reports for May 23 through May 27

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On May 23, a 24-year-old man of Woodlynne was arrested and charged with shoplifting merchandise between December 2014 and this date from Sears Department Store in the Moorestown Mall while employed as a Loss Prevention Officer. He was released on a summons. $530.99 was the total value taken.

On May 23, as a result of a domestic situation a 48-year-old man of Willingboro was charged with simple assault. He posted 10 percent of $2,500 bail and was released.

On May 23, a 55-year-old male of Gibbstown was arrested and charged with shoplifting merchandise valued at $450 from Macy’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. Pinto was committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $2,000 bail.

On May 25, a 37-year-old woman of Palmyra was arrested and charged with shoplifting women’s clothing valued at $243 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

On May 26, a 30-year-old man of Haddon Heights was arrested and charged with shoplifting and CDS paraphernalia. He concealed men’s clothing valued at $86.97 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. He also had in his possession a spoon and hypodermic syringe. He was released on summonses.

On May 27, as a result of a domestic situation a 42-year-old man of Moorestown was arrested and charged with simple assault. He was released on $2,500 bail.
