Lenape student’s PSA and documentary selected for film festival at Morris Museum

Sawadzki

Junior Erin Sawadzki had two of her projects from her communications technology III class selected to appear in the inaugural film festival at the Morris Museum. With more than 70 submissions from 17 schools in New Jersey, the festival judges selected the best works in four categories, including documentary films, music videos and PSA’s/commercials short films.

Erin’s PSA, titled “95 Years” is one of 5 PSA/commercial projects and her documentary produced this year, “Constellations: Still The Same,” is one of five finalists in the documentary category.

The Morris Museum is proud to celebrate the creative achievements of New Jersey artists and performers in different ways each year. From showcasing artists in exhibitions, to theatrical or musical performances, the Garden State is ripe with talent! The first ever “Watch Out,” organized in collaboration with the Film Production Program at Fairleigh Dickinson, is especially for young filmmakers who are high school students. This film festival will celebrate the creative efforts of high school educators and students in the medium of film. The festival takes place on June 3 and 4.
