Lenape Regional High School District launches new mobile app

The Lenape Regional High School District has launched the LRHSD Mobile App, which provides users with access to a variety of district information at anytime, from anywhere. The new app is available for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play by searching Lenape Regional High School District.

The LRHSD Mobile App enables users to quickly and easily connect with everything from district news, to athletic and activity schedules, to social media, in one mobile-friendly view. Users can choose to subscribe to information for one or more of the district’s high schools, as well as from specific clubs, activities and sports.

Students and parents can access mobile friendly views of grades, assignments and cafeteria balances on the LRHSD Mobile App. The app even enables students and parents the choice to be notified whenever class grades are updated or when a cafeteria account balance runs low.

In February of 2014, district administrators began the process of researching a mobile app by meeting with parents, students and staff focus groups to understand what features they would most like to see in an LRHSD branded app. Beginning in the summer of 2014, and throughout the 2014–2015 school year, the district has been working to refine the app to give users the best experience possible. A small group of students, parents/guardians and staff have been beta testing the LRHSD Mobile App in advance of the public release.
