EveshamPolice

A new K-9 will be joining the ranks of the Evesham Police Department, and the department is requesting help from the children of the Evesham community with choosing a name.

In cooperation with the Evesham Township School District, the department will be asking students of Evesham Township, grades Pre-K — 8th to submit names for the department’s newest K-9. Names can be submitted by either filling out a contest form (available at www.eveshampd.org under the K9 unit of the site’s “Divisions” section) and mailing to the ETPD (984 Tuckerton Road Marlton, NJ 08053) or submitting them by email to reinholtt@eveshampd.org. (This is not a school sponsored event)

The department is looking for names that are law enforcement related, and contest forms need to be submitted by May 13. The child who submits the name that is picked will have their picture taken with the new K-9 and be recognized at an event to be determined.

The department looks forward to giving its newest recruit a name worthy of the service he will bring to the township of Evesham.
