This information was provided by Commissioner Neal Rochford:
A public meeting has been scheduled by developer Brian O’Neill to discuss the proposal to build an alcohol and substance abuse clinic on the Bancroft property. The date is Wednesday, April 22 at the high school auditorium at 7 p.m. The high school was chosen since it can hold a larger capacity then other venues in the borough. This meeting as I understand it will have a presentation and time to answer questions from residents about the proposed facility.
As of today, no plan for the site has been presented to the borough nor has there been any scheduled hearings by the zoning board. This is a public meeting scheduled by the developer. It is not a commissioner meeting. The commissioners will not be speaking or be participating at the meeting.
Residents are welcome to the commissioner regularly scheduled meeting for public comment.
