ShopRite Hires First Full-Time Dietitian

ShopRite of Lawnside announces the addition of its first full-time dietitian to promote healthy eating programs and offer free nutritional counseling to customers.

Adrienne Olah, RD graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and interned at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Prior to joining ShopRite, Ms. Olah gained valuable experience with pregnancy, infant and childhood nutrition through her employment with the WIC agency.

“I have a passion for helping others live a healthier lifestyle. So this job is a perfect fit,” states Ms. Olah.

The ShopRite of Lawnside is located at 130 N. White Horse Pike in Lawnside and is owned by Renee and David Zallie, who also own the Medford store.

“We’re fortunate to have someone with Adrienne’s enthusiasm and spirit join our team to help us promote our nutritional programs at our Lawnside store,” said Renee Zallie.

Adrienne’s first health and wellness event will be ShopRite’s Young Consumers Program on Wednesday, April 22. Local fourth and fifth grade students will tour the ShopRite of Lawnside with the challenge of shopping for a family of four on a $100 budget. The food they purchase must be nutritious and healthy. Prior to the store visit, Adrienne will be at the Lawnside School on April 14 to talk to students about nutrition and healthy eating.

As part of ShopRite’s Retail Dietitian team, Ms. Olah’s is one 115 Registered Dietitians who service ShopRite stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland. Together these Dietitians offer nutrition advice, meal planning, and diet modification for specific medical conditions.
