On Feb. 8, police responded to a home on Chief Massosoit Road. They found a 64-year-old victim duct taped to a chair inside the home. The suspects assaulted the victim, striking him with a pip or similar object while they demanded money. The suspects also threatened to kill the victim if he called police.

The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and the victim’s 2010 silver Cadillac DTS. The victim was treated at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly for non-life threatening injuries and released.

Throughout last week, police received numerous tips after releasing sketches of the suspects. The investigation led detectives to Mt. Holly, where they recovered the stolen vehicle on Feb. 12. A short time later, police found the Mt. Laurel man in close proximity to the vehicle. With the assistance of the Mt. Holly Police Department, he was taken into custody. A warrant was then issued for the Wrightstown man’s arrest. The Burlington County Sherriff’s Department took him into custody on Feb. 13 and turned him over the Medford Police.
