Mt. Laurel Library offering college prep programs starting next month

The Mt. Laurel Library will host college prep programs in February and March. These programs, sponsored by Kaplan, are free of charge and open to students in grades nine through 12.

The library will host a SAT and ACT practice combo test on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The practice test is designed to help students decide which test, the SAT or ACT, is right for them. It has sections representative of both exams. Students should bring pencils, a calculator, and a snack if desired.

On March 5 at 7 p.m. the library will host a seminar named “SAT vs. ACT: Which Test Is Right for You?” A representative from Kaplan will be present to explain the differences between the two tests to make sure that students and parents can make an informed choice.

Students who took practice test on Feb. 20 will receive a score analysis at this event. Registration is not required.
