Multiple drug arrests were reported by Cherry Hill Police last week

The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.

On Friday, Jan. 16, a woman from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with shoplifting and other charges after attempting to leave the Sephora store without paying for concealed merchandise totaling $259.

On Saturday, Jan. 17, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Route 70 and Kingston Drive for a traffic violation. Through police investigation, a woman from Clayton was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, hindering apprehension and other related charges.

On Sunday, Jan. 18, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Route 38 and Cuthbert Boulevard for a traffic violation. Through police investigation, a woman from Maple Shade was arrested and charged with possession of narcotic pills without a prescription.

On Saturday, Jan. 17, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Route 38 and Chapel Avenue for a traffic violation. Through police investigation, a woman from Browns Mills was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of narcotic pills without a prescription and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute.

On Monday, Jan. 19, Cherry Hill Police responded to the 500 block of Main Street for report of a burglary to a vacant residence. Unknown actors entered the residence through an unlocked rear door sometime during the last four to six weeks. Police observed graffiti and property damage throughout the house. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.

On Tuesday, Jan. 20, Cherry Hill Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the area of Cuthbert Boulevard and Park Boulevard. A man from Cherry Hill crossed four lanes of travel while the signal was red and did not utilize the crosswalk. Through police investigation, this individual was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and other charges.

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Days Inn on Route 38 for a traffic violation. Through police investigation, a woman from Pennsauken was arrested and charged with possession of narcotic pills without a prescription and other related charges.

On Thursday, Jan. 22, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on the lot of the America’s Best Value Inn for a traffic violation. Through police investigation, a man from Maple Shade was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and other related charges.
